Fall in Roanoke

What is fall if not walks in the crisp air, laughing with your beloved friend as you crunch your way through the carpet of golden leaves strewn all around?

Having just come off our adventures in Natural Bridge (post soon!) we weren’t quite ready to say goodbye and head our separate ways yet. So we decided to spend a lovely half day in Roanoke, Virginia.

The fall leaves, brick facades and quaint little shops left a lovely impression on us both.

As we wandered around, we saw so many interesting paintings and ads and buildings that just screamed of history.

If you’re ever in Virginia in the fall, this adorable town is worth the detour.
