Holiday Gift Guide

I know the holidays aren’t all about the gifts, and I don’t think that they should be. BUT I happen to find great joy in finding that perfect gift for someone you care about. And with the shipping delays we’ve all been hearing about ad nauseam, I figured it might be helpful to get a gift guide out as soon as possible.

If you’re anything like me, you’re not a big fan of being in overcrowded, overheated shops. If that sounds like you, grab a cup of your favorite beverage and let’s do some shopping!

*As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. But I don’t recommend anything I wouldn’t buy myself*

For the Bookish One

Who doesn’t need a pair of cozy socks while curled up with a good book?

Undoubtedly my favorite books that I read this year, along with about half of bookstagram. Any fiction reader will be stoked to get this. (*hint hint husband mine!) Little heads up though, these are for your more adult readers if you know what I mean.

The absolute cutest little bookmarks! Especially for the plant lovers in your life.

Want want want!

This mug speaks for all the readers out there. If we’re reading, chance are we are not even aware that you’re speaking.

There are so many of these different character candles and I’m here for it. Despite being a Slytherin myself (I know, I know!) I still found this description hilarious.

Slightly more refined than the character candles, these beauties smell delightful and pay homage to famous authors.

And finally, a kindle. I’m team physical books all the way but damn if an ebook isn’t so dang convenient for travel and throwing in your purse when you have to go do boring things!

Gift. Boxes! Yesss, takes all the work out of shopping around and is hella cute too. There are different themes to choose from.

For the Cozy Homebody

I bought this for my apartment in DC and it is exactly as soft and cozy as I hoped it would be.

Beautifully packaged loose leaf tea.

If I had this, I might never make it out of the bathtub.

These are perfect for relaxing bath time rituals

If I had found these before I ordered my newest slippers, I would have got these instead. Multiple colors available.

Between the Eucalyptus and the crackling from a wood wick, I’d say this makes a space as cozy as anything.

Not that I need another cozy sweater, but this one is totally coming home with me anyway.

Not the prettiest picture on the page but these leggings feel like butter and I’ve literally been buying them on repeat for years. (There’s also a 1” waistband version but I like the 3” waist band here much better)

For the Hostess/Host

For those of us not so great at arranging things nicely, this one is perfect because it practically tells you what to put where. Plus it has great reviews. Wine not included unfortunately.

Waterford Crystal is a classic. I got the goblet version years ago and I’ll never tire of them.

The tin is so cute and it comes with 100 recipe cards and dividers. Perfect for the cook of the family.

This set comes with everything, down to the straw cleaning brush. A perfectly chilled mule in one of these would be perfection * chef’s kiss *

An important tool for keeping our germs to ourselves by avoiding asking yourself all night, “ Is this my glass?”

I just absolutely love this idea, especially for dinner parties of old friends.

Capri BLUE volcano. The name doesn’t tell you much but this is what they burn at Anthropologie stores to make it smell so amazing. A great idea for hosts/hostesses.

An adorable gift for the host or hostess who doesn’t have time (or the green thumb) to keep plants alive (guilty!) but wants to add some color to the room.

Keep those wines fresh and when you’re not using them they’ll sit pretty in their little stand.

For the one you want to spoil

Betsey Johnson knows her way around some bling and with that Tiffany blue sole…mmmhmm!

Classic 14k gold hoops are never a bad gift.

Cashmere dahhhhling.

I’ve bought not only this one for my dad but also the baseball bat version for my husband. Very well received.

Switching to a bamboo pillowcase has been ahhmazing, I only hope to have this whole set someday myself.

The coveted Le Creuset Dutch Oven. Someday you will live in my kitchen…someday.

Bose is king.

For the gentleman who’s facial hair deserves the best.

Oculus. If I didn’t think I would break everything in my house, terrorize my dogs and neglect all responsibilities..I would buy this for myself for Christmas.

For the Outdoorsy One

Got the hubby a very similar Columbia jacket for Christmas last year and that thing is a champ. He wears it constantly.

Useful as hell when keeping your stuff secure and off the ground.

This Lifestraw literally has 78,000 5 star reviews! I don’t think it needs much more endorsement than that.

Apparently the hot item that people want for camping, according to my husband.

Rechargeable plasma lighter. Wind proof and when the case is shut, waterproof. Great tool to have around.

Paracord bracelet with a fire starter, whistle and a compass. Pretty sweet for an emergency.

For the tech one

I personally don’t desire to see the details of my face, but great for someone who takes their makeup and facial grooming seriously.

Hello movie nights!

I used this notebook of the future pretty much all through college. It’s awesome for taking notes and especially for doing long math problems and then digitally uploading by scanning the page with your phone. Plus, when you’re done with what you’ve been using it for? Wipe it clean and use it again. The trees will thank you.

Polaroids will always be fun! This is camera and printer in one and you can even print photos from your phone!

This is something I should probably own since I lose my keys or my phone about 5 times a day…

That’s all I’ve got for now, I hope it helped you on your hunt for the perfect gift this holiday season! Now I’ve got to go hide my wallet from myself before I buy the lot!

Happy shopping!
